As far as handling charges, which I feel are legitimate charges that include the cost of packaging, the time involved in filling an order, and the fee I pay for the privilege of selling on Etsy, I will be adding an extra .50 - 1.00 to your actual shipping charge to cover these expenses.
We'll see how this works - I'm trying to handle S & H in a way that is fairest to you, my customer. If you have any comments, please feel free to convo me. I would love to hear how you feel about this system I have come up with.
